Krestovozdvizhenskaya Church

The temple was built on parishioners’ money. The building started in 1774 and in 1791 the church was sanctified. In 1837 a stone fence with two gates was erected around the church. Parish of the Krestvozdvizhenskaya Church included all adjoining villages at that time. The service was provided by one priest and psalm-reader. In Soviet period the church was closed, all crosses were thrown down from domes, the church was converted into workshops of agricultural college and later on into student club. In 1993 the church was returned to Tobolsk and Tyumen diocese. The temple was completely restored and sanctified in 1998 by Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexiy II.
