The Kolokolnikov's Estate Museum

The Kolokolnikovs’ Estate Museum is the only classic merchant's estate remained in Tyumen. The facade of the building is made with a combination of classicism, baroque and Tyumen traditional carving. A luxurious festively lit up double-height hall, walls decorated with vivid paintings of the Kolokolnikovs family and a trade shop which represents the collective image of city's shops – these interiors crate a unique atmosphere of the end of the XIX and the beginning of the XX centuries . The permanent exhibition of the Kolokolnikovs’ Estate Museum is called “The History of the House” and dedicated to the history of the merchant's families, such as the Ikonnikovs and the Kolokolnikovs; the historical events taken place in this house (one of those is the visit of the house in 1837 by the prospective Emperor Alexander II with the great Russian poet V. Zhukovsky). In 1919, there was the headquarters of the marshal V. Blyukher. The cost of adult's ticket: from 100 RUB.
