Nemtsov Park

Nemtsov Park is a former Sport Park with a small fountain and several sculptures of athlete in the style of the Girl with a Paddle. The park was named after Nikolay Nemtsov in 1980s. At the beginning of the 2000s it was cultivated, a new fountain was built there and in 2004, there was a bust put in memory of Boris Scherbin who was a Hero of Socialist Labour and the minister of enterprises’ construction of oil and gaz industry of the USSR.
