Umar ibn Al-Khattab Mosque

Umar ibn Al-Khattab Mosque is located on the territory of former Tatar village Yanaul that joined the city in 70-s of 20th century. Officially, the mosque was opened for visitors in 1997. It took 8 years to build it. Islamic fonds, city administration and government of the region provided financial support. There is a women hall, a room for ablution and library. Every week the mosque holds Jumu’ah (Friday prayer), various lectures and seminars. At Ramadan the believers may stay for Tarawih and accomplish Itikaf. Alisher hazrat Dedamirzaev is an actual imam of the mosque. Languages of the mosque are Russian and Tatar. There is also a residence of the head of Tyumen region Spiritual Administration of Muslims at the mosque. His name is Galimzyan Bikmullin.
