Tekutyev Boulevard

The Tekutyev boulevard is located in Tyumen along Respubliki street near the Tekutyev Cemetery in the Lenin district of the city. It was named after Tyumen merchant, entrepreneur and patron Andrey I. Tekutyev. The boulevard appeared in 1986 in anticipation of the 400th anniversary of Tyumen during the reconstruction of Respubliki street. The direction of giving the name of A. Tekutyev to the park was signed on 28th of April 2003. The boulevard is about 350 meters long. There are poplars, birches and spruce trees some of which are more than 100 years old. The tracks were paved with stones in 2005. In 2008, the monument of Tekutyev was established.
