Tsvetnoy Boulevard

The walking area connects the Ordzhonikidze Street with Pervomayskaya Street – it is the very center of Tyumen. In 2004 the Tyumen Region celebrated its 60-years anniversary, and in the regional center as soon as possible a pedestrian boulevard of the city center (on the place of the recreation park and the stadium) was planned to build in a shortest time. Soon the project was finished, and the boulevard got its name “Tsvetnoy”, which means “full of flowers”. Nowadays it includes circus, plenty of restaurants, Yubileyniy Sport Center and the biggest fountain in the centre of the square. The Tsvetnoy Boulevard is an acknowledged centre of the city and a favorite place for the youth meetings and gatherings. There are various malls and entertainment centers around it.There is also an amusement park to spend time in.
