Tyumen Puppet Theater

The first perfomances of professional troupe took place in Tyumen right after the Great Patriotic War in 1945. Official status of regional theatre the artists received much later. The south and later the north of Tyumen region knew who Tuymen puppeteers were. Only in 1972 the theatre obtained a real building - modern building of glass and concrete with 400 seats. Since that time one of traditions of the puppet theatre has become perfomances and plays for adults, but still the main activity is aimed at chhildren perfomances, To know more about theatre playbill click here.
